Conference dinner at Uppsala Castle

The conference dinner will include a three-course gourmet dinner in the magnificent Hall of State, where Queen Christina of Sweden abdicated her throne in June of 1654.

Uppsala Castle

Uppsala Castle on the Kasåsen hill, is one of the city’s main landmarks. Uppsala Castle dates back to the 16th century and has been the site of numerous historical events. This including the Sture murders in 1567, Queen Christina’s abdication and several coronations.

Today it is a living castle. It is the residence of the county governor and the Hall of State (Rikssalen) is extensively used for ceremonies and dinners.

 

Among the castle activities are:
